Many years ago I graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (minored in Sociology), with the intent to become a counselor. Life happened and I got away from my vision. I became stuck in a retail job for 13 years, a place I tried to get out of for years. I was hopeless and lost. After many years of being told I’d make a great manager I decided if I couldn’t move out of the company I might as well move up. So that’s what I did. I was shortly promoted, where I then strived to be a great manager, did well, and had my sights set on moving up the next rung. But God had a different plan for me. I quickly became burnt out with the demands of living life for my family and my job (notice, not for myself). So I quit my job. I had nothing to fall back on and I had no plans on what was next, only having faith that God would provide. And that He did. I promised myself that I would work on my overall health; mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and financial. It has now been a little over 2 years since then. I have grown in so many ways I don’t have time to lay it all out here. Of course, I have a ways to go, and I’ve had a couple setbacks, like anyone else. But I am here now, in confidence that God has led me through trials and difficulties in my life to this very time and space.
I AM AN ENCOURAGER! God has chosen me to encourage those who come into my life with love, joy, and hope, by sharing my experiences, knowledge, and wisdom I have gained along the way.
I am now pursuing to become a certified Life Coach through ICF. As a coach I will work with people, such as yourself, who desire change in their life and would benefit from having a coach to partner with, being held accountable in setting goals. I couldn’t have made it to where I am without my faith, trust in Jesus, and those He placed in my life to encourage me and hold me accountable.
This has been an incredible journey met with both hardship and joy. I have confidence and hope from where I was allowing others to make choices for life, to now choosing to live life according to God’s purpose.
I can’t wait to meet and partner with people, such as yourself!
